About Cherokee Aircraft Salvage

Hi – I’m Mike Woods. My wife Barbara and I bought Cherokee Aircraft Salvage in March 2011. I’ve been flying all kinds of aircraft since I was a teenager. When we went looking for a business to build, it was natural for us to consider an aviation related business. When we found out that CAS founder, Larry Omps was selling CAS, we jumped at the chance.

We’re committed to serving the best owners and aircraft in the world. We handle only Cherokee recycled parts and service only Piper Cherokees. To that end, if you’re a Cherokee owner or mechanic, we want to be your preferred provider for used Cherokee parts.

Anytime you have a question about a part, flying, or just aviation in general, give me a call. If it goes to voicemail, just leave a message. I’ll call you back as soon as possible.

I’ve been flying Piper Cherokee aircraft for a long time. My first airplane was a 1967 Cherokee 140. Although I moved from my Cherokee to a Mooney and back to a Grumman Yankee, I’ll be back flying a Cherokee soon.

We’re not the biggest company in the salvage parts business, but we hope you will appreciate the individual attention and small town service we provide our customers.

Take a few minutes to look around our website. But better than that…contact us. Use our contact form or just give me a call. If it has to do with Cherokees, you can rest assured that I’m interested in talking. And if you need something for your Cherokee, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find that good old-fashioned customer service is alive and well here in the Shenandoah Valley. Thanks for visiting.
