About Cherokee Aircraft Salvage

Hi – I am Larry Omps. I started Cherokee Aircraft Salvage in 2005. We are dedicated to specializing in Cherokee recycled parts. We only service Piper Cherokees.

I am an ATP rated pilot and an A&P rated mechanic with an Inspection Authorization. As you see, I am very dedicated to aviation. I fly both a 1946 Piper Cub and a Seneca II. Anytime you have a question about a part, flying, or just aviation in general, give me a call. If it goes to voicemail, just leave a message. I will call you back as I am out of the office quite a bit.

I’ve been flying Piper Cherokee aircraft for a long time. I have a farm on the outskirts of Winchester, Virginia that has a 1,500 foot grass strip. Since 2005, that’s where Cherokee Aircraft Salvage has set up shop. While we are not the biggest company in the salvage parts business, we hope you will appreciate the personalized service that we take pride in providing to our customers.

I hope you will take a few minutes to look around our website. But what I would really like is for you to contact us. Use our contact form or, better yet, just give me a call. If it has to do with Cherokees, you can rest assured that I’m interested in talking. And if you need something for your Cherokee, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find that good old-fashioned customer service is alive and well here in the Shenandoah Valley.

Thanks for visiting.

Larry
